DIRECTOR

Anders Walter is an Oscar-winning film director and screenwriter, recognized for his short film HELIUM (2014). In 2023, Anders premiered his first Danish feature film, NÅR BEFRIELSEN KOMMER/BEFORE IT ENDS, a powerful drama inspired by true events that explores a dark chapter in Denmark's history.

Beyond his filmmaking, Anders is a talented illustrator and storyboard artist, having created over 200 storyboards for films and commercials. His creative range also includes poster designs for brands like Carlsberg, LEGO, and the Danish National Railway.

Additionally, he has directed more than 25 music videos for prominent Danish artists and is a voting member of both The American Film Academy (AMPAS) and the Danish Film Academy.

Anders resides in Copenhagen with his wife and two children.
