Michael loves exploring personalities and characters when they are challenged by life. What leads a person to a specific choice in a particular scenario?

He has a passion for crafting unique worlds for each story, using colors, space, rhythm, and blocking to provoke his characters into making choices.

"You never know where a good idea will come from" is his mantra, perhaps that’s why he has had many partnerships and clients that go back years.

He’s a graduate of the American Film Institute in Los Angeles, and has been mentored in commercials by Nicolai Fuglsig. They worked closely together in LA for years on commercials and on Nicolai’s feature film, 12 Strong.

Michael loves working with new techniques like NCAM , which is an incredibly exciting new technology that offers new possibilities for innovation on sets with greenscreens or LED screens.

His work has been nominated for an EMMY and twice for a YDA at Cannes Lions, among others.
