Being a master of camouflage has brought Lea to direct award-winning documentaries before entering into commercials. She is a world traveler, a sharp thinker, and a poetic director, whose skills include fashion, youth, and realism.

She has completed studies in New York as a Fulbright Scholar and interned with Academy Award nominees Rachel Grady and Heidi Ewing at Loki Films.

Lea Hjort is based in Copenhagen and she makes character-driven films with strong personal narratives.
