DIRECTOR

Esben is an international filmmaker based in Copenhagen. He has directed commercials all over the world for companies like LEGO, Coca Cola, Carlsberg, Vodafone, T-Mobile, Skoda, VW, SONY and many others.

His work in fiction has already placed him as one of the most award-winning Danish directors in recent years. His festival nominations include Venice, Berlin, Cannes and Palm Springs International Film Festivals and even an Academy Award shortlist.

Esben holds a BA in film and media science, as well as degree in art history. He attended Super16 and has directed numerous short films, commercials and music videos throughout his career. He has a background in music and is especially talented at working with kids, has a reputation for his comedic input and his generally good mood is always reflected in his work.
